(2) Foundation for Early Learning Recruiting for 10 Fellows -- recommended especially for those doing Welcoming Schools projects!

Foundation for Early Learning is looking for 10 people to serve for one year as an Early Learning Fellow. An Early Learning Fellow can be almost anyone who is interested in supporting early Learning. Projects must directly serve children and families in Washington state. The project needs to be completed by the end of the program year--think about scale and manageability.

(4) Washington Holocaust Education Resource Center speakers' bureau

The Speakers Bureau consists of about 25 active speakers Holocaust survivors, liberators and descendents of survivors who share their stories with students and community members throughout Washington State and the Pacific Northwest. Speakers bring stories of the Holocaust to life, and encourage audiences to connect lessons of the past with contemporary issues like hate crimes, bullying and genocide that are so prevalent in today’s world. Hearing speakers give testimony helps students find their own voice, and teaches them to be responsible citizens in our community, our nation, and our world.
