(1) Director of Programs, Pride Foundation, Seattle, WA

 

The Director of Programs will provide strategic vision and leadership for Pride Foundation’s programmatic efforts throughout the Northwest. The Director will oversee all aspects of grants and scholarships across five states as well as develop strategies for special initiatives. The ideal candidate would bring a creative and thoughtful approach to program development while maintaining an appreciation of Pride Foundation’s history, legacy, and commitment to social justice philanthropy.

(2) Education Director, Planned Parenthood of the Great NW, Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK

 

This is a full-time position that can be based at our Anchorage or Fairbanks office, depending on employee preference.  BS/BA in related field required, an MS/MA is preferred.  Two years supervisory or management experience, three years experience as a sexuality educator, and excellent communication and organizational skills are required.  This position will also supervise the Teen Outreach Program in Alaska.

(4) Program Coordinator, LGBT Center, Duke University, Durham, NC

 

The Program Coordinator in consultation and collaboration with the Director generates and conducts educational programs for LGBTQ students and their allies as well as the general campus community

that promotes further awareness of the lives of LGBTQ individuals and also challenges bias and intolerance. The Program Coordinator fosters academic engagement through programming in partnership with various academic units across the campus to encourage critical thinking about the intellectual, cultural, and political ramifications of sexual and gender difference at Duke and beyond. Additionally, the PC maintains a leadership position in helping to shape the overall diversity agenda on campus by working closely with undergraduate, graduate, and professional student communities. The PC manages operations of the Center in the absence of the Director, assists in the supervision of student staff, and manages the Center#s overall programming initiatives; monitors programming budgets; assists with advisement of student organizations; assesses Center programs and services; coordinates the Center's marketing plan; and manages the Center#s Resource Library and website.
